Subject New At Tunes: Definitely Jammy

Greetings,
In yet another 'US rapper in trouble with the law' surprise,
Def Jam hardcore dude DMX recently pleaded guilty to reckless
endangerment and driving under the influence of valium at a
criminal court in Queens, New York. Answering to his real name,
Earl Simmons picked up a conditional discharge, a $1000 dollar
fine and had his Ford SUV impounded.
Fair enough? Well... here's the story behind the bust:
1) Simmons and associate attempt to steal a car at Kennedy
International Airport.
2) The pair are foiled and promptly 'do one' on foot.
3) Simmons forces a passing motorist out of his car, claiming
to be an FBI agent.
4) The cops ID Agent DMX and swoop on Chateau Simmons.
5) Cops give Simmons' SUV the once over, discovering that:
a) the truck has been fitted with a police siren, and
b) it's also storing 15-20 rocks of crack, a billy club and
unspecified quantities of Oxycodone and Diazepam.
Now bear in mind that back in 1999, a raid on Simmons'
house turned up crack pipes, a pistol and 13 pit bull terriers,
for which he was hit with a fine and an order to make public
service announcements for the Humane Society (yes, that's right).
Then check how his lawyer, Murray 'if I was a' Richman,
described the latest court deal: "This was a good disposition
for a matter that was blown greatly out of proportion". Murray
Richman. Remember that name if you're ever in any bother...
