Subject New At Tunes: Firm But Fair

Greetings,
Liam Gallagher's guide to contemporary music:

* On Franz Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos: "He reminds me
of f***ing Right Said Fred. You put on 'I’m To Sexy For
My F***ing Thing' next to their records and I bet you any
money it’s the same person. It’s the same f***ing person!
He’s just gone on the Atkins diet and grown his hair."

* On Kaiser Chiefs: "A bad Blur."

* On Pete Doherty: "I’m not into smackheads. Smackheads
need slaps. So what does the word Libertine mean? Freedom?
He’s f***ing in the corner doing smack with a helmet on
his head. There’s nothing free about that."

* On Scissor Sisters: "If that’s what they call entertaining
then let them have it - bright colours and f***ing weirdos
on stilts? I’m more entertaining than that c***. I’ll rip his
f***ing vocal chords out any day because he’s f***ing rubbish"

* On Bloc Party: "A band off University Challenge, like
they’re sitting on a panel or something”.

* On Charlotte Church: "She could be the next Liam. She's
got a great voice and she f**king has it. She knows how to
get f**king hammered and she freaks people out."

Oasis re-release their second album for the seventh time
and call it the new one next month.
