Subject New At Tunes: Look Away Now
Greetings,
The streets of London were alive with the sound
of warbling little scrotes as legions of stage
school maggots and keyring-sized fame junkies
lined up to audition for the roles of the Von
Trapp children in Andrew Lloyd Webber's new
production of 'The Sound of Music' yesterday.
Lloyd Webber, famous for curdling milk
with his face, is responsible for turning the
West End into a sump of anti-cultural slurry
with musicals like 'Cats', 'Rats', 'Touts' and
'Phantom Of The Menace'. Nevertheless, some
4,000 young hopefuls, many spurred on by parents
without souls, waited patiently for the chance
to clump around a stage in front of a bunch of
cravat-wearing whoopsies.
"This is great for kids that come from
any walk of life, not necessarily just showbiz
kids," said Lloyd Webber addressing a crowd
of journalists with their backs to his mangled
chops. No it isn't.
