New At Tunes: Rosemary & Garlic |
Greetings,
A flock of Cumbrian sheep have joined Embrace, Sham 69,
Crazy Frog, Tony Christie and a repulsive legacy of
chancers by recording a World Cup song for the England
team. Local musician Charley Darbeyshire is the arsewit
behind The Baarmy Sheep's version of 'Land of Hope and
Glory', available free (with an accompanying video) from
the Cumbria Tourist Board website. A spokesman for the
Tourist Board, blatantly angling for a slap, had this
to say: "Every England football fan has heard of three
lions... Well this is three lambs!" Grrrrr.
