Originally conceived by musical director Tuomas Kallio (also a member of nu-jazz / house outfit Nuspirit Helsinki) "to celebrate the golden era of modern jazz from the 1950s to the '60s", the Five Corners Quintet gathers together the cream of Finland’s live musicians once again for this fresh release.
