Beatphreak, aka Jason Holmes, started out as a DJ with the Fat City Records crew in Manchester back in '97, producing infamous DJ mixes before expanding into his own productions as Beatphreak. Currently working as a 7-piece band, Beatphreak's debut album for Jack To Phono is a blissfully uplifting experience with guests including dub don Kwasi Asante and soulful songstress Laura Thistlethwaite.
