K Gee / It Only Takes A Minute Girl - Floyd Lawson and the Hearts of Stone
Added 28/06/2008
on the Record Kicks label
Floyd Lawson and the Heart of Stone were originally from Philadelphia but moved to Canada in the early 70s. They only ever released a handful of promotional records to help them get live bookings - needless to say these recordings are incredibly rare now. Record Kicks have picked these two prime cuts: A funky cover of the Niteliters underground classic - and one that we reckon will get the ladies straight onto the floor, a soulful number made famous by a certain boy band.
