'Kisses Don’t Lie' is a tasty slice of uptempo soul with a solid backbeat. All the Broomfield clan have great vocal talent and have been making records for quite a few years now. This does sound like it was recorded in the mid 90’s but it carries a nice groove throughout. John Anderson at Soul Junction/Soul Bowl has always had close contact with Vince Broomfield & was responsible for bringing the Audio Classic 'Do You Really Want Me' to Britain which became a Modern Soul anthem. One for the collectors & a tune that I’m sure will be played to the more discerning punters... Quite a lot I reckon!!
