While not as well known as `Gears`, this album is revered by fusion fans and is a must for any serious collection. Gambler`s Life is significant to Hammond`s career because it marks the beginning of Hammond`s move away from the organ to the electric piano and was produced by the talented Mizell Brothers. This is one the finest albums of it`s type currently available (thank you Soul Brother Records for the re-release).
