Madrid-based HiTop Records has been sneaking out sweet sounds with considerable consistency for a while now, but this album gets the golden bongo for sheer style and exuberance. Compiled by HiTop boss El Gran Lapofsky, the selection is largely brand new stuff, with a handful of out-of-press 12"s given a much-appreciated inclusion. Funky as a rubber Clinton on a spacehopper, as they say.
