The second in a series of comps put together and released by the now defunkt and much-missed Timewarp, who were , perhaps more than any other Distributor , responsible for flying the flag and giving exposure to the great underground leftfield jazz-flavoured music which happened in the nineties and early noughties.
This was the best-selling volume of the series largely due to the inclusion of BB Davis's thoughtful electronia version of the seminal 'Get Carter' soundtrack. At the time the only way you could acquire the track.
But thats not all, on here you'll find gems by Jazzanova, an early Mo Horizons and a rare guest appearance by Jose Feliciano on the Flamingos' 'Icarus Descending' track.
If you needed a souvenir of the best of that period, you could do worse than dig out and acquire the whole series, much of which is available still on this website. Just an amazing historical document of the music from that time.
Get it while remaining stock is around.
