Long-awaited solo project from maverick British guitarist Eddie Roberts, perhaps best known round here as the founder and leader of The New Mastersounds. A sophisticated incarnation of nu jazz and modal space jams, described insightfully as sounding like "St Germain with attitude".

this is one of my best 2005 finds ... this is the real deal nu sound , jazzy raw and groovin from start to finish ...a must buy !

Some great stuff. Great latin beats, great jazzy feel to all of the music they're doing. Has a lil' big band feel to some of the songs.Roughneck is a great song. And in Digging around, there's a lil drums solo, most of this is actually played by instruments which i really enjoyed. Didn't sound like it was with a drum machine or anything, and the guitar had some killer solo's. Really enjoyed it, i recommend it.
