Between the making of 'Paul's Boutique' and 'Check Your Head', the Beastie Boys holed up in a rehearsal space to jam and experiment, resulting in the track 'Root Down'. The rest of this mini-album was recorded live in Europe, where the Beasties were finding a funky, punky new flow. Limited stock of this good quality re-press.
