Australian heavy retro funk band The Bamboos kicked up a fuss with the release of their 300 copies only debut 7" 'Eel Oil / Blackfoot'. Funk connoisseurs Kenny Dope and Keb Darge quickly signed the band to their Kay Dee label for the follow up 'Tighten Up / Voodoo Doll' and their reputation among the global funk community was cemented. Now Tru Thoughts, in collaboration with San Fran's Ubiquity Records, have picked the band up for their debut album.
