On one of his many travels abroad, Gilles Peterson happened upon a great jazz pianist, Elan Mehler, in a bar in Switzerland. Gilles was so enamoured with Mehler's Bill Evans / Keith Jarret style composition "Scheme For Thought" that he put the track out and commissioned an album too.
