Growing up in Lagos Nigeria, Bukky was spotted practising his first saxophone by the original Afro-beat drummer Tony Allen. Since then he's played with Fela Kuti and then became part of the new acid jazz scene in London during the mid eighties. Now widely recognised of one the best sax players around, he's released a new album. Featuring some of the finest Afro-Beat and Jazz musicians in the World and Ben Mitchell on production, this is the future sound of afro beat.
