The Crusaders started out as a jazz band in the early seventies and turned out some fine jazz funk grooves before anyone had thought of calling it jazz funk. After ‘Street Life’ this is possibly their best known tune. A building instrumental with a catchy keyboard Riff. Wilton Felder and Wayne Henderson apply the brass riffs while Joe Sample plays it his way.
