UK funksters Speedometer are no strangers to these pages, and here we have two stompin' instrumentals written by leader Leigh Gracie. OK, derivative but right on the money. The A side leads with flute over a bass-driven groove reminiscent of 'I'm A Man' while 'Ode' is Hammond to the fore. Extended funky drum breaks on both sides.
