Driven by a fat conga pattern and afro horns, Be There Tomorrow is a Fela Kuti inspired chunk of afro funk featuring jazz supremo Andy Panayi on sax.
The Funkanala project is a combination of Afro & Latin rhythms with the worlds of jazz, funk & dance. Recorded and produced by the exploits of Jim Hawkins and John Cunningham in numerous studios, bedrooms, offices & warehouse spaces in North London and featuring master drummers, dancers & singers from Senegal plus the finest British Jazz session players.
