In all honesty, with two very big exceptions, this is a mediocre compilation of tracks 'from the great White North' (of North America that is). The two big exceptions are namely Hipnotic's wondrous rare groove 'Are You Lonely' which has changed hands in original single format for hundreds of pounds. On its own that would justify the very reasonable price-tag of this CD but couple it with Theryl's midtempo soul stormer 'Open Up Your Heart' and you have more than ample reason to invest your hard-earned.

The rest of the album has its minor high points but generally consists of the kind of throwaway 80's boogie which we try to forget. Get it for Hipnotic and Theryl. There's also a bunch of 80's synth & beatbox samples here to be had.
