Sounds from the Miami Cuban scene of the late 60's / early 70's. If only Tony Montana had learnt an instrument he might have got involved in this vibrant scene. Two generations of Cubans got together - the old 'uns with their traditional afro cuban music, and their children who were influenced by American music, especially rock and funk. Cubans went on to make a massive impact on American music as they still do today. This fascinating collection has been remastered from the original tapes discovered gathering dust in a Miami studio.
