It was only a matter of time before some of this artists material saw the light of day. Hank had a career which spanned the Rhytm 'n' Blues era of the 50's right up to the early 70's when he was responsible for recording some of the funkiest tunes put on wax under the production of James Brown. This later era is what we're talkin' about right here on this great album.
This comp. uses the original album artwork but the tracks on both vinyl and CD versions are varied to take in some of his 45 rpm single-only releases which would otherwise have been missed. Its a nicely compiled set with his essential 'From The Love Side' and 'Blackenised' included amongst others.
