Although this could well be the soundtrack to a chessy 60`s movie, it was in fact recorded in 2001. La Douce are dedicated to keep things swinging and moody throughout the 21st century. Featuring the Herbaliser`s brass section amongst the players the album is indeed modern retro for the urban sophisticats out there.
