Norwegian ex-pro footballer and sometime shepherd Espen Horne`s first album for Stereo Deluxe follows up Bobby Hughes debut album, `Fusa Riot`, released a couple of years back on the Ultimate Dilemma label. This is creative future jazz groovology at it`s finest, driven by delicious double bass riffs and shuffling rimshot beats. Slinky vocals and traditional structures fused with tight programming and electronic flourishes. A mixed bag that works a treat.
