Sometime in the late ‘60s a loose collective of musicians known as the M&S Band made their sole recording at Frank Virtue’s legendary Virtue Studios in Philadelphia. Before they left the studios a one-sided acetate was cut of the song ‘Egg Roll’. They probably took it home to check it out, and for some unknown reason it was decided not to go ahead and release it as a record. Fortunately Keb Darge picked up the acetate, from which this 7" of boogaloo funk genius was cut.
