Tunes Gift Certificates

Tunes gift certificates are a fast and flexible way to send a present to a friend. They get an email which they can use straight away to spend on any of the records and CDs on Tunes.co.uk. Ideal for anyone into their music, especially if you've left it to the last minute!

  You can spend this certificate on any of the products 
  on the www.tunes.co.uk website: 
  1. Use the "buy" buttons to add the items you want to your shopping cart
  2. Click on "secure online order" and enter your delivery details
  3. On the payment screen enter the claim code above an click "update"
     before submitting your order.

How it works
You'll need to login to the Tunes site first (or register if you have never purchased anything from Tunes before). Then there is a simple form to fill in with name and email of the person you are sending the certificate to, the amount, a message to send to them and your credit or debit card details.

Once you have received confirmation that the transaction has been accepted then an email will be sent to the recipient with the claim code they need to redeem it on the site.

How to redeem a certificate
Just add the items you want to buy to your shopping cart as usual and click on the "secure online order" button to complete the purchase. After entering the delivery details then you will be prompted for payment. On this screen enter the claim code included in the gift certificate email and click on "update" to recalculate the total payable before completing the order.

If the value of the gift certificate is greater than the cost of the order then any money left over will be exchanged for Tunes points

Tunes Points
The idea behind Tunes points is to provide an easy way to reward our regular
customers with discounts off future purchases. The more you spend, the more you 
save - it's as simple as that!

Earning points
The number of points you will receive is displayed before you place your 
order. For each £5 you spend at Tunes (excluding tax and shipping)
you will receive 1 point. When your order is dispatched the points are 
added to your account and a confirmation is sent in your dispatch 
notification email.

Spending your points
Once you have a total of 10 points you can start using them to get discounts
on records. When you come to pay for your next order you will see an option 
to spend your points. Currently, for each 4 points you spend you will save 
£1 off the listed prices. Alternatively, you can keep your points and
use them later.

How it works
Since your points balance is updated online as soon as you choose to
spend them, but we do not charge you for your order until it is dispatched,
the final discount to be applied is not calculated until then. 
If your order is cancelled for any reason and there are still unused 
points allocated to it then they will be returned back your account 
at this time.
