About Stereo Deluxe...
German imprint Stereo Deluxe delivers relaxed, intelligent and varied club and lounge music, perhaps best described by the label bosses themselves as 'a modern, urban sound'. The Nuremberg-based label is staunchly independent, with a reputation built on nurturing artists over long-term release schedules that allow for naural development. |

Stereo Deluxe Biography
Launched by Oli Rosch in 1995 with the compilation Bassic Instinct (now up to number three in the series), SD is also behind the Future Lounge compilations, the most recent of which boasts tracks from labels like F-Comm, Glasgow Underground and Grand Central. Think downbeat jazz, deep house, latin, funk and above all, quality. Stereo Deluxe acts include: Boozoo Bajou (global influenced intricate and exotic sounds), MoŽ Horizons (Brazilica, Latin, jazz, soul and funk with a little boogaloo for good measure), Trio Eletrico (funky breaks with a Latin flavour), The Strike Boys (funky and eclectic), Jaffa (jazzy breaks and hip hop) and Soul 'n' Soda (futuristic soul/funk fusion), together with recent additions to the fold, The Bobby Hughes Combination (nu-jazz experimentation), The Funky Lowlives (diverse rhythms, bruising beats and atmospheric moods), Megablast (vocal-led bossa-jazz-house) and Robbyn Rhodes (laid back jazz funk). |
