	Formed in 1997 by Luciano Cantone, Davide Rosa and Nicola Conte, Milan-based independent Schema's roots are firmly fixed in jazz and bossa nova, but the secret of their exquisite releases lies in the fusion of brilliant musicianship and composition with dancefloor sensibilities.

Schema Biography
It's outstanding producer and musical visionary Gerardo Frisina, however, who must take the credit for shapintg the identity of Schema. Frisina and artists such as Nicola Conte, Balan�o, Gianluca Petrella, Rosalia de Souza and Les Hommes aong with globally licensed collectives like S-Tone Inc and Soulstance have played a huge part in re-inventing the role of Latin and jazz music in a contemporary context. Equally key in drawing attention to the sound of forward thinking dancefloor jazz and Latin music are the outstanding 'Breaks 'n' Bossa series of compilations, the influence of which has been highly significant in bringing Schema's music to a wider appreciative audience
