Throughout the full catalogue you will find an eclectic output from funk, hip hop and soul to afrobeat, breaks and house. The emphasis is definitely on quality and diversity, rather than perpetuating existing musical genres.
Future projects include an album from Detroit hip hop duo Ab/Nrml, a full album from Australia's live funk/breaks outfit Rhibosome, a compilation of modern day funk from the likes of Quantic, Poets of Rhythm, Sharon Jones and others, a compilation of dancefloor jazz celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Snowboy's Hi Hat club session and a collection of Deep Funk from the scenes grand-daddy Keb Darge, not to mention more and more singles from around the world. "Freestyle rocks the spot" Scott Hendy (Boca 45/Dynamo Productions)
"Not many labels describe a genre of music (Acid Jazz, Motown, Stax) but this one does….one of my favorite record labels out of London" Paul Murphy (Afro Art records)
"The Freestyle tunes keep getting better and better!" Jon H (Fort Knox Five)
"More releases than a sperm bank and all good! Mark Robertson (Spiritual South)
