About Fluid Ounce...
Formed by Chris Vogado, (one half of Zero dB and the man behind The Vogado Projects) the reassuringly hype-free Fluid Ounce label gained huge respect after only a handful of releases, such is the quality of it's output. A label of few words or pictures, but peerless high standards, Fluid Ounce let the music do the work. |

Fluid Ounce Biography
Zero dB's disco-house-jazz hybrid 'Come Party' was embraced by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge and Rainer Truby on it's release in 2000, and Fluid Ounce's follow up, Frank de JoJo's dynamite rework of the Larry Young track 'Turn Off The Lights' upped the ante still more. Last year saw Zero dB exploding again with the dancefloor-oriented 'Click' and the Vogado Projects 1 EP. Selected artists: Zero dB, Frank de JoJo, Terri Pace, Chris Vogado, Lucy Gale, Electric Eclectic, John Kong & Moonstarr, Carmel. More recently, the album 'Reconstruction' collected together a suite of groundbreaking remixes of tracks as diverse as Sun Ra's 'Satellites are Spinning', Peace Orchestra's 'Henry' and Interfearance's 'Xtradition', gloriously re-interpreted by messrs. Vogado and Combstock, aka Zero dB. |
