It was the love for music... Okay let,s be honest here..it was the obsession for good music, which led Toronto DJ, producer and promoter John Kong down the record label path. After 10 years of buying, playing and breaking records, John finally decided to trust his instincts and his keen ear and started up Do Right Music in 2002. the label has become known for innovative releases and a wide range of sound and styles, spanning many genres of music.
Since 2003 Record Kicks have done their best to release new & rare funk, soul, dancefloor jazz and orgasmic pop. In these years Record Kicks has released tracks from artists such as Smoove, Speedometer, Alice Russell, JTQ, Frank Popp Esemble, Nostalgia 77, DJ Andy Smith, Shawn Lee & the Link Quartet .

Aniligital Music is a San Francisco based independent record label
started in1997 by DJ and producer Tal M. Klein. The label's focus is
on organic funk, soul, disco, and downtempo beats & breaks. Over the
years Aniligital Music has developed an incredibly talented stable of
DJs, producers, and live acts including Irian Jaya, Skizzo Franick, T
Spigot, Cleo's Apartment, Bigside Left, DJ Fuc, and others.
Germany's Tramp label is the brainchild of Tobias Kirmayer who's on a mission to dig up and re-release funk and soul tracks that are either extremely rare or totally unkown. The label also releases new school funk and jazz from the likes of The Hi-Fly Orchestra.
Breakin Bread is a Funk and Hip Hop Collective, based in South London.
The Collective runs a record label, club and radio shows. With B-Boying, Turntablism, MCing and Graffiti, the club night (held at The Jazz Cafe, Camden) is funk fuelled mayhem. The record label has been active since 1999 and specialises in the funk and hip hop that surrounds the scene.
Although they have been around for four years, 2006 was the year MPM made their mark on Tunes with a string of great releases cumulating in the "More MPM Sounds" compilation which is a firm favourite with Tunes staff and customers alike.
