The brainchild of Dj's Simon & Chris Goss (Hospital Recs), that sprung to life way back in 1989 in hey day of "acid jazz", in the form of the first proper WAH WAH session at the Old Albany in London. Wonder Wheel Recordings was born in the Summer of 2003 in the beautiful borough of Brooklyn, NYC. The vision was to release music & design inspired from the timeless amusement park & the culturally diverse area of Coney Island & Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.

Jazzman Records was established in 1998 by esteemed collector and dealer of rare 45's, Gerald Short. He set out on a mission to re-release the best and most obscure & rare tracks from the late 60's and early 70's. To date Jazzman and it's sister label Funk 45 have have released dozens of quality reissues and several classy compilations.
